Hi all,
My name is Matt & I hail from Townsville, in North Queensland, Australia.
I got my first DSLR late last year, and although my gear is fairly basic, I am improving every shot (well, that is the goal, anyway) .
I found this forum through checking out the great tutorials and am hoping to learn much more from the experienced photgraphers on here.
Main interests are landscapes, buildings and other features. Also I love the texture & mood of mono, so have been spending a bit of time on that lately. Also dabble with sports (but I am hitting the wall on what my gear will do at times)

Welcome - Townsville is a great spot and I miss it (lived there back in the 90s).
