Re: As-Salam Mosque | My First post here
Hi Azman,
Excellent work ![Smile](https://cdn.cambridgeincolour.com/forums/images/smilies2/smile.png)
Some minor thoughts ...
- Often with reflection shots it's OK to disregard the rule of thirds and centre the image like you have here ... but other times, it can still pay to cut off part of the reflection which then aligns the image more with the rule of thirds AND makes it appear more panoramic.
- The image needs output sharpening (after you down-sample the image for online display, be sure to apply an unsharp mask of around 0.3 pixels @ 100%
- For my taste, I'd increase the vibrance just a touch (5 to 10%)
- Personally, I always recommend NOT putting a watermark in the image ... it drags the eye away from the normal flow of the image (although having just said that, you're is one of the less obtrusive ones that I've seen).
- Also, if you make the images a little bigger, it'll help folks with high resolution monitors see them a bit bigger (I'd suggest making the long dimension between 1000 and 1200 pixels)
Hope this helps ...

All in all though, a very nice image - well done.
PS: Welcome to CiC too - great to have you with us!

Very impressive first post Azman. If this is typical of what's to come in future posts, it looks like we're in for some real treats.![Smile](https://cdn.cambridgeincolour.com/forums/images/smilies2/smile.png)
Cheers Dave (and welcome)

Re: As-Salam Mosque | My First post here
Nice image Azman! I would love to see this larger in the lightbox at about 1600 pixels across! From what I can see, I would suggest cropping out the bottom of the image at a point just below the reflection of the tree in the water. This will get the waterline away from the center of the image and place more emphasis on the coloring in the sky to complement the building. Hope this helps! ![Big Grin](https://cdn.cambridgeincolour.com/forums/images/smilies2/biggrin.png)
Edit: I was so taken by the image I didn't scroll down to see that Colin had already made the same suggestions! Sorry for the duplicate comments.

Welcome to CiC Azman.
Very impressive HDR.
The horizon appears to need a bit of straightening; it’s going down at the right. Also, the very day-glow-green bank is something that distracts my eye from the mosque. Would you consider toning that down a bit?
Looking forward to seeing more of you captures.

Hi Azman,
impressive HDR, well done. Regarding rule of thirds - I'm very much following Colins and Franks suggestion.
Thanks for showing, hoping to see more of your marvelous pictures!
