Taken yesterday at Samoens - a ski village in alpine France.

D700 and 17-35/2.8-4 Tamron lens.

I can't remember the settings (i.e. exposure readings and focal length) but the data on the file may reveal them. I did a little tweaking in iPhoto and 'improved' the general picture to my liking. I like the picture for it's simplicity but I'd like to hear from others here what they think of it and how it might be improved aesthetically. Comments on the framing and/or other aspects are invited.

Hi Pritam, nice overall composition. Based on the Exif data you shot this at ISO 200, f3.5 (f3.36 is wide open), and 1/60 sec. Even though the aperture was almost wide open, DoF is not an issue but a narrower aperture would improve the overall sharpness (not that its an issue at this size image).

If you have the ability to increase the crop a little, it might look better if the door frame wasn't cut diagonally at the top.

It's amazing the motes I can see in other's eyes but don't notice in my own eyes! Perhaps that is why its wise to ask others to look at our images. LOL!
