    River Dee at Llangollen

One of a number of images taken recently that suffered because of bad light/bad weather conditions, where normal editing fails to save an image with perhaps potential. Here I have gone the HDR route - I appreciate that some photographers dislike HDR while others may consider it cheating - I personally like it in the right circumstances.

Your views will be much appreciated.

Hi Chris, this is a very nice capture! Great action, diagonal lines, a splash of color in the buildings, and a pleasant composition. Sometimes tonemapping makes the foliage a little too green but you can always blend back in some of the original tone if that becomes an issue.

If it is available in the original, it might look more 'complete' if the top of the image was cropped just enough higher to not clip off the top of the roof on the buildings.

Hi Chris nice capture, is it me or do the building at the top of the image lean back?
