Helpful Posts: "The Path to God Leads to an Unmovable Faith" image was created in the tiny community of Brightwater - Nelson - New Zealand. I drove past this church earlier on in the day - and returned to photograph it at last light, during gale-force winds. All around I had trees whipping back and forth violently - I was being hit by flying twigs & leaves - and yet there stands this church, as solid on it's foundations as the faith of those who visit her. And all around we're surrounded by graves - many dating back to the early 1900s - shouting out "give us your worst ... we've seen more than you can ever throw at us, over the years. We're here for eternity".
I've used a 4 minute exposure to convey the force of the wind - the stability of the church (and the faith of those who worshop there) - the path that transitions us from one life to the next. Click the image for a much bigger (and better) view (recommended).
