Yup, your macro work is excellent. Wide angle not to bad either.
Broadening skills is better than a broadening waistline.
(Getting fat - swimming would be a great exercise but boring without photography involvement).
I have heard it said that wide angle underwater shots involve a lot of cut and paste.

I don't think these two have a strong enough point of interest that attracts the attention and from which the eye can then wander around the frame.
However, the others do and are, in my opinion, yet more examples we see of wonderful underwater images.
