Eddy, I'm curious about the exposure: looks like a fairly long one to give the sky and water effects. What shutter speed, f/stop, and ISO did you use? Any post-processing enhancement of saturation?
I love the result in any case.
Thanks for sharing,
Joe
Hi Joe,
I wondered that too, looking at it with an EXIF viewer, it is showing;
30 seconds @ f13 and ISO400 on Nikon D80 at 24mm.
Cheers, Dave
Dave, regarding your comment:

Is that something available here on the CiC website, or is it some utility you're using. I'm confused about how you found the EXIF data???
Joe
Hi Joe,
Exif data is data appended to all images at time of capture; if not removed somewhere along the way then it remains embedded in the image file for viewing.
Many post-processing packages have the ability to read and display this information. Personally, I view it with Photoshop, but there are also many other utilities available on the net.
Cambridge in Colour doesn't have any tool or utility for this at this time, although this does raise the question of "would a page of helpful links" be useful? Something for us to think about.
Hi Joe,
I now use the Exif viewer suggested by d3debian in this post
Once installed (it is an add-on for Firefox), you just right click on an image and there's a new option half way down called "View image EXIF data", I find it's very helpful. It opens a new window with the data in (if it's available that is).
However, you can just access the webpage from the link above and paste an image url in and use it that way too I think.
The old fashioned way is to download the picture to your HDD, then view properties and the Details tab (with Vista).
Cheers,

A very nice image. I love the aspect and the composition. I really must try some of these long exposures on water I love the effect.
Thanks for the info and the links. If you have a response to my question to Colin about Raw and EXIF, just hop in on that also, please.
