Hi all,
Joined the group yesterday after reading a recommended link. I'm a Nikon user (although I have a Canon G9) and I've been seriously photographing for about 7 years. I keep sinking deeper and deeper into the equipment morass. Have an information technology background and absolutely LOVE software so I have no problem with Photoshop and all it's associated plug-in programs, Photomatix etc. Glad to be a part of this group!

I'm just about 300 miles N. of you in WA. Welcome to the site...
Good thing you have the "software gene"...not all of us are so lucky. I use
Lightroom 3 + a couple of other programs, but Photoshop still seems
overly complicated to me..
