Beautiful buck (and shot) James! Normally I wouldn't care for the extra grass in
the foreground that is hiding parts of his legs, but in this case it seems to add
a nice element to the image. 
How did you set up the shot? From the angle, it looks as if you were laying in the grass,
and he walked up on you?

Mike I was in a natural depression.(fancy words for hole) in the field. I have tried hiding in a blind but he was to wary for that. I used a scent block and sat on a little hunting folding stool.(real still) I knew that guy was coming back, cause there are scrapes all around. I thought about trying to clean the grass out but like you said it worked for me too .Thanks Mike and John I am glad you enjoyed it, theres more deer coming !
