C & C Please - Whispy Clouds
I don't post my images very often But thought it would be nice to get some feedback on a few of my images. I have not picked up my camera in quite a time due to some hand surgery and wanted to know if I am doing ok.

I wanted to emphasize the size of the clouds verses the bench, which is a reminder how small we are compared to the universe:

Hi,
like your idea.
I would have liked to see the whole bench in the shot, thus giving a bit of open space on the left-hand side. But certainly an interesting concept.

Great picture - I'll second the comments by John re: more space on the left of the frame...look forward to more of your posts.

Maybe it was the 15 px frame that took away the left space, Glad you enjoyed the photo. I want to have it printed for my daughter. She loves this sort of thing.

Re: C & C Please - Whispy Clouds
I see the entire bench. There is a minimal amount of space between the end of the bench and the edge of the image. I (and this is just my thought) believe the composition should stay as is. It balances the rest of the photo. The clouds are predominantly right and the bench left with the cloud top "topping" it off in the upper center.

Re: C & C Please - Whispy Clouds
You may need a sensor cleaning though. There is a spot under the center of the bench that should not be there. It could easily be cloned out, but if this spot exists in other photos, it is a sign of something on the sensor. It's got too sharp an edge to be from a spot on the lens. Or, it could have been some particle, bug or debris that passed that point at the time of the shutter opening.

Are you cirrus about this?
Nice shot. Hopefully you took a lot and are acumulusing them on your hard drive.
(Trying to fit in stratos somehow, but my mind is stuck with Bond villians).

Re: C & C Please - Whispy Clouds
Your idea is great. But, according to me, the space on the left is tightly.
