I am a recently retired public employee, who enjoys taking pictures in a city east of San Diego. I am looking forward to learning some new techniques from all of you on the forum, so I will be able to take better pictures.

First up, so that you don't continue to get people asking you what your proper name is, because most us use that on here, you can go to Edit Profile and enter your proper name under 'Real Name'. Then it will appear underneath your Username in all your posts. You can also enter your location so that it does the same, just as in my details alongside this message. Then we all know where everyone is in the world.

There are a few people on here from your corner of the world.

Hopefully you've seen already that CiC is very much about learning - about people sharing knowledge and experience and helping each other develop knowledge and skills. So, I hope you enjoy being part of it and I look forward to you getting involved in discussions and, of course, posting up soem of your images.
