I have two - not necessarily listed in order of preference:
1) Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 - by Nat Coalson (378 pages)
2) The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 Book - by Martin Evening (637 pages)
Both are good, although I usually reach for 2) by Martin Evening. His explanations are quite detailed.
There are others that I've looked at - one of the popular ones often mentioned is by an author that uses quite a bit of humour in his writing. But once you've read the jokes, and have to go back to review a topic, the jokes start to wear a bit thin (at least in my opinion).

I can recommend Martin Evening also. Very clear and good explanation.
Thanks very much - I see that thy are both on Amazon (of course).
scott kelby,,, way to go!
The mrs is reading a Scott Kelby book at the moment. I think she's chuckling more than learning!
I don't use Lightroom but I would recommend anything by Martin Evening. I have his CS5 for photographers and find it quite useful.
Victoria Bampton also has a very helpful site/book. I have both of the mentioned above, and Victoria Bampton's book. Try it and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Ooops, I forgot about Victoria Brampton. She regularly comes on line at: http://www.lightroomforums.net/forum.php
And she is very helpful and knowledgeable.

PS BlueBoy: ask her if the jokes are funny the third or fourth time.
