East London sunset
The title says it all.
I am lucky to live on the south side of Epping Forest. The area near me (as in within in 50m) is a large open space that is used for football at the weekends, but has some great spaces to walk in.

Re: East London sunset
I like the shot Dave. The trees make a nice silouette and I like the way the sun rays filter through on the ground.

Re: East London sunset
Personally speaking, Dave, I would try a closer crop.
For me, there isn't anything of any real interest on the right side. Just distant trees and an uninteresting sky, so I would crop to where the sky starts to look better, where the clouds appear. And then crop a little from the left side to correct the overall scene balance.
I think this would give more impact to the main group of trees.

I agree with Geoff's Crop suggestion. Also you might want to do a gradient pulled down from the top and up from the bottom to darken the sky above the trees and the grass.
Very nice picture. Keep sharing and shooting

Re: East London sunset
Thanks for the comments all.
I kept the largely uncropped view as I liked the curve made by the tops of the trees from the left, over the top of the main group and down to those on the left, but I have also tried your suggestion, Geoff.
Again any view will be welcomed.

Re: East London sunset
Admittedly, you do lose a bit of 'depth' by cropping tighter, Dave, but your alternative crop has a lot more 'wow' factor.
