Canon Telephoto Lens for $140?!?!
Amazon has a Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS Telephoto Zoom Lens for $140. I have a 5d mark II with a 24-70L so I'm not sure if this lens would be a good buy for my collection. However, I do need a telephoto lens.
I'm afraid this would be a 100% impulse buy!? Any thoughts? Feedback? Please!

Save your money. Your 5dII doesn't accept EF-S lenses.

Doh! Did not even notice that. Well, the link is there for anyone who has a compatible dslr. I believe the deal runs only for today.

Yes Pat the EF-S lenses were designed for the smaller sensor cameras (1.6x) and extend a little further back into the camera body. Definitely not for your camera. See this link.

It is a very good price though. The best I can find in the UK is £146. And I'm sure the pound isn't quite one for one with the dollar, yet.
