    They sure are beautiful birds, no question. We've got a mated pair that spend a lot
    of time in the area, but they usually do their fishing upriver from our place.

    One look at those claws and that beak tells me I sure wouldn't want
    to be a fish on his radar..lol

    Good shot,
    but might I suggest it would have been better posted in the nature/architecture board?
    You'd probably get more/better C&C there...

    You can say that again.

    Beautiful birds and a thrill to watch in flight especially over water when looking for food.

    But one thing is they are impatient and give up after a maybe 5-10 circuits and move on. When they leave the fish come back up closer to the surface.
