I might try the merest touch of extra highlights to just boost the white a little more. But I'm not totally sure about it.
Otherwise good.
I really like the intensity in his eyes! I wonder if it would be worth trying to clone out the fence or cropping it out. I find that it draws the eye away from the fox's eyes.
Beautiful! A levels adjustment would help bring out color and contrast.
An excellent shot for such a long reach. Looks like it would be fun to play with in Photoshop to bring out some color and contrast and sharpen a bit and, yes, do away with the wire.
Love the picture, and I know that I am a really inexperienced photographer but I really like the fence . . .
Very nice. Great shot
Lovely shot. Well done.
Can certainly be improved somewhat in pp but still a pretty good shot as is.
Hi Jack,
Great shot, I really like the way the fox seems to be really checking things out, you can feel the intensity.
Cheers
Great shot. Crop in to the face. Levels and curves adjustment to bring out colour and contrast. Some sharpening to make the eyes pop. I have the same lens. You could have got away with less than f16 on this shot.
Whatever adjustments you make..keep the fence.
It totally works with his/her look of indignation.
Brilliant capture.
You had a very obliging model here, with that intense cunning stare. Great shot -well done.
Don't be fooled people, this picture is very vibrant. It just needs to be converted to sRGB (currently AdobeRGB)
I'd like to see the conversion before I comment then because it is slightly flat and soft to me right now. Still a great shot though.
Yes that has produced a lot more 'zip'.
With regard to the grainy background. When faced with similar situations, I often find that lightly running over the problem areas with a light Blur Brush can work wonders.
This edit really pops! As mentioned, a light pass with a blur brush on the background will fix that.
