Great shots Paul...you really nailed that morning glow ...

I've never been a fan of big cities, and even though Seattle is close by, I tend to avoid
the downtown area like the plague. I've seen every major city in the US at least once,
and Seattle is about the most beautiful city to see from a distance. I remember seeing
that emerald colored glow of Seattle on I-5 very early one morning (like 0300) as I came
up from the South, and right about E. Marginal the entire skyline above the city was glowing
with a translucent soft emerald green. Not sure if that could glow could be captured, but
    it might be fun trying.

Know of any good spots on Beacon Hill that have a view of the city?

Thanks everyone for the comments. I was fortunate to have such a nice sky to work with.

Mike...I took this from Beacon Hill....

I remember that shot Paul, as I thought it was taken on Beacon. Is it from a spot that would be
    safe late at night?

It is not a bad area, although a few less than desireables hang out at the park above. I don't feel uncomfortable being there after dark, but I keep my eyes open. Likely best to go with someone just to be on the safe side.

Impressive images! I am a big fan of sunrise/sunset silhouettes. I love how you've captured it just in between a silhouette and detailed image. Great work. Those are money makers!
