I love it when you post your photos.
The names are great,, and your pictures are quite simple, but not at the same time. Keep them coming, I love them.
Good work Fernando
Like this very much. Great composition, well spotted or was this posed?
Peter
Hi Antonio,
It's totally an issue of free choice; Fernando chooses to exercise his right to free choice by not commenting - others choose to exercise their right to free choice by commenting - so everyone is happy
If some choose not to comment because he doesn't choose to comment then that's fine, and if some choose to comment even though he doesn't choose to comment then that's fine
Free choice is a wonderful thing
Excuse me but I had to come here again to write a few words about your comment.
Thank you so much for lecturing me.
"Free choice is a wonderful thing". Indeed it is. But within certain limits. And here lies the problem: Limits/guide lines/frontiers/values/bounds.
Would you post here pornography ? No, you wouldn't of course.
Do you go to work in shorts ? Do you go to the beach with a jacket and tie ? No, you don't.
These are just silly and stupid examples I know, but try to extrapolate to other situations.
Here we are supposed to talk about photography. Is it my right to speak here about something else like politics, economies or whatever ? No, it is not.
This post is just an exception to confirm the rule.
Democracy is indeed and so far, the best system ever "invented" by man. Life in society must have limits/guide lines/frontiers/values/bounds.
A disease of modern times - at least in Occidental cultures and on those which "came" from it and I am sure you do know what I mean - is the lack of clear limits/guide lines/frontiers/values/bounds. I could try to demonstrate it to you but here is not the place to.
No. I am not patronizing you either but just trying to demonstrate my point of view.
And I will say no more.
I like those square cropped portraits of yours ...
Have you seen mines ?
Have a nice week end.
Admin: Feel free to erase my post in case you think it is inconvenient. Thank you.
Hi Antonio,
I wouldn't call it a "problem"; the vast majority adhere to appropriate, albeit unspoken, "rules of the game" anyway, and for the others we have moderators (and yes, we do quite a lot of "cleaning and tidying" in the background).
Is it a right? No ... Are you free to choose to do it? Yes - but - as with all things in life, one should also be prepared to experience the consequences of their actions. In the case of posting pornography, it would be removed and a big finger pointed followed by "tut tut tut!".Here we are supposed to talk about photography. Is it my right to speak here about something else like politics, economies or whatever ? No, it is not.
This post is just an exception to confirm the rule.
I think it was Churchill who said something along the lines of "Democracy is the worst form of government - apart from all the others that have been tried"!Democracy is indeed and so far, the best system ever "invented" by man.
Thank you Colin for spending so much time with me. (get us a thank you smilie if you please)
And you know what ? I only saw now that you are an admin. What wouldn't change my statement.
If I had not been before in NZ I would fly to you and talk in my clumsy English, about this matter and photography.
But, it is so far away ...
Your feet against mines ...
See what I mean ? No misinterpretations, mine is enough: You are on the antipodes of Portugal: on the other side of the World.
Have a nice Sunday !
Ha,
Well, I choose to say "another impressive image" .
