i really love the concept and the composition Sharon - great idea and nice capture.

For me there's a couple of the lights reflecting off the watch face that are just a little distracting - particularly the one above the XI and the green one in the foreground. The background works exceptionally well though - leads you straight to the watch face for me.

I was actually attempting to use the backround 'bokeh' to draw the eye to the XI....which is why I left the Midnight hour out of focus

( eleventh hour..last minute..countdown to the New Year..that was my plan anyway! )

Sort of wanted to say..don't wait until the next figure comes into focus..live now.

I echo Malcolm's comments, particularly in relation to the concept, the background and, I'm afraid, those flare spots.

But what is more important and something, I think for us all to learn from, is appreciating the imagination and vision that conceived of the idea in the first place. The beauty is that the image we get is the product of thought and planning, not accident.
