Re: Quick Shoot Downtown
Hi Bill,
Nice series.
I might have tried some perspective correction on #1 and #4, but other than that, not a lot to say.
I agree with #1 being monochrome, it must help minimise the impact of the signs and cars that are unavoidably in shot.
The more I see 'architectural' shots of different places, the more I think "that's a nice place with some
interesting buildings', but (and I know it's true of Windsor, even without the castle) it is probably true of almost any city or large town, anywhere in the world. We just need to open our eyes and view our environs, which we take for granted because we see them everyday, with fresh eyes (or a new perspective - groan).
Well done,

Like Dave, I like #1 in monochrome. I went to your own site to see if you had any of that church in colour, to check out the what the roof/spires looked like (which you do). You've done a good conversion on #1 getting the richness of tone in the roof.

Re: Quick Shoot Downtown
Thanks for the comment guys.
I really do prefer churches and older building done in monochrome, it seems to show the character better. I was a bit pressed for time with these shots, I plan to go back for some different perspectives very soon, will post them when done.
Cheers
