Sorry, missed that rule.
Sorry, missed that rule.
Hi Steve,
I took a liberty, since I too thought the photo was worth seeing, and moved the post here;
Smile
Hope you don't mind,
Excellent Alis, excellent ...
Thanks, Rob! They were playing hide and seek and I think he is hiding behind that tree!
Right now he has unlimited allowance of photography supplies, as long as he is a good boy! We just bought a superb Canon lens for him and I am planning to upgrade his 70-200mm f2.8 lens soon, again as long as he stays a good boy...
Words ?! What for ?!
OK Alis. Then, here I go.
I like the image in general.
I like the way he is looking far ahead with his hands on the back of the seat.
I think the weather was cloudy or you were in the shadows. Very well. That is indeed a very good option.
However, on his face I can see two kinds of light, I mean two colors of light. One on our right and the other on our left. This one pleases me more than the other.
And there are a couple of areas burned in his face. Maybe. It looks like. I mean on our right, his left part of the face...
I also like the composition. The way the curve of the bench - or whatever it is - lead us to the arm, then to the body and finally to his face.
Of course, the background is very intense with those blues.
There are always things one can criticize and say I like this, I like that, but if you could just change the green into blue... or have a more uniform bluish as background...
Oh come on, just too small details for photos on the park. I am being too meticulous and this is not right in this kind of pictures. You are not in a studio where you can control (most of) the environment.
Herewith an image about those important lines I consider important in the picture.
Now that I read the post and I am about to place it on line, I don't know if a small displacement of the crop towards the bottom wouldn't be better ? I mean: move the square down a bit to place his head more up in the frame. In fact that also depends what is hidden in the present frame.
Very Rosy, Colin! Great shot. Is this with natural light?
PS: I just saw the other post, so ignore the questions please
Hey Peter, she is a cute little kid. Mind me asking, she has down syndrome?
