Cheese
Sorry to have been so silent much of this year. I have been keeping an eye on things. Started a cheese blog and am trying to shoot as much original work as I can.
Cheers!

Re: Cheese
Hi Chris, great photos There is something however about the top one, I like the way the light comes through the cheese. Had a quick read of your blog also, great story about the Natalie Grey Cheese.

Re: Cheese
Thanks Frank- it's golden fig; local bakery. The cheese is Evalon; a recent Wisconsin goat cheese that just won best in class. Pretty good for the 25yr old young woman that made it; her first cheese I believe.
I'm cobbling together backdrops, lighting etc out of misc found objects

Re: Cheese
That background works well - really highlights the cheese.

Re: Cheese
OK, thanks Chris, now I'm hungry. The first image is amazing. I love the lighting and texture. Especially the glow of the light threw the wedge. The 3rd (the wedge with the loaf) I also find very appealing. The texture and color of the loaf is great. Well captured. I'll be following as well.
