VOTING. When this competition reaches 10 entries, a poll will be automatically added and any member may then vote. After 2 days, voting ends and the winner is determined.

Once voting begins, a new competition will be automatically started.

Disappointed. No editing on this shot..Taken at about 4:30 in the afternoon and you can see the sun setting on the building in the middle of the shot with the moon coming up. Any tips?

Kirk - may I suggest that you post that pic in the Nature/Landscape forum and ask again? You will get a better response there.

If your tip was to capture the moon naturally and not a bright big dot you could put your camera on aperture priority, f7. Spot focus on the moon, hold down your button 1/2 way, get your readings (shutter). go to manual and double your shutter speed. Check and tweak and adjust. take 100 pictures like me and hope for the best.
