Re: Project 52 by Girish A
How much did you crop? If nothing you can track very well. I like the definition, but there seems to be some blown out areas around the neck and on the front of the wings. IMHO (im no pro)

Re: Project 52 by Girish A
Nice composition although I'd probably crop the rock on the bottom left out. Parts of the look like they could be a bit sharper though I think.

Re: Project 52 by Girish A
I agree that the composition is super and the image is unexpectedly soft for the camera settings. It looks like the pesky rock on the left may be in better focus than the bird so I'm going to assume that the focus was slightly off.
Shooting at this distance you might want to try a higher ISO, maybe 800, and use the extra light for better DoF of a smaller f-stop.

To get a shot like the first one on your first try is great. The slight blowout in the neck isn't bad and your tracking is great. I think ISO 800 @ f/8-f/11 would have given you a better DOF on the second one, but still an amazing shot as well. Keep up the good work. I'll be eager to see your progress.

Re: Photo for 3rd week
Another nice capture Girish. There's a little softness towards the tail end of the body when I look closely but the head seems nice and sharp to me.

Re: Photo for 3rd week
Looks good to me. White and black birds are so difficult to expose correctly but this one is spot on.

Hi Girish, You are doing well with these birds, the week 3 bird looks nicely in focus, I like the water drops coming off the beak
