Failing at this project
My computer acts up when I start photoshop. Most probably its the RAM that needs to be changed..

Sahil - Sorry to hear your having problems. Just remember that there are quite a few 'experts' on here, should you want to consult them to try and diagnose the problem.

Thanks for the offer, Donald. I will surely turn to friends on CiC as soon as I am done with checking if the problem is with RAM.
Just to share with you all, what actually is happening is that the moment my computer's usage reaches 100% (which normally stays below 20%) it turns off. When I am processing a RAW file, the 100% is reached only for a couple of seconds and after 4-5 seconds it goes off.. So I am guess that its just the RAM.

PS:- My laptop was bought in March, 2007. And has been used EXTENSIVELY...

Laptop? If we are talking about the RAM problem, yes, it has been mended. Now he screen has gone off
I have connected an external screen to it so the work doesn't suffer. Need to get this mended too
And yea, I am failing miserably at this project
Reminds me of my school time & MBA projects... I did same with them :|

But took a few pics, which I feel should turn out well to compensate the lag
