that's what I was wishing for this week!
I like #1 most!
thanks for... saving me from your spiders!
Some Yosemite landscapes for this week... I am almost completely through the whole set! I only took me forever!
And of course, there is the one posted here...Yosemite Valley from the Merced River

I assume the last one is some form of Harvestman (Opilione) but certainly a species which doesn't occur in the UK. Although that white mark on it's 'nose' is similar to Phalangium.
With clarity like that you should be able to work out the identity.
OK - I know I'm totally bending the rules here with the dates, but I need to do something to catch up... so I'll be using my recent dive trip to cover several weeks of photos... starting with a nice video (I think the second I've taken with the 7D underwater).
Stay tuned for more!

Ok - as usual, playing catch up with my P52 thread...
These also came from the same shoot that I posted for my Halloween post

More fluorescing corals - for some more, check out my previous thread.
In what continues to be my typical fashion on my P52 thread, I've got several weeks of catch-up to do here on my P52 thread. I've really been lax with getting the camera out, and really have only just recently finished processing the photos from this trip, so it kind of is accurate that I'm using all of these trip photos for my P52.
I do have some other photos from a couple visits to my local conservatory, but one of the hard drives in my computer crashed over the weekend and I'm waiting for the replacement to arrive before working on the other one (they are set in a RAID 1 mode for redundancy, so the data should be safe, but I'm still being cautious).
Anyway, here's an assortment of photos from the dive trip...
I promise the next post will be something new.

Finally got some diving in I see! Great shots
Mal,
Thanks! How has your underwater photography been coming along?

Here's a couple more from the trip to the Aviary where I got the other burrowing owl shot. As you can see, none of them are really all that fantastic.
