Got hold of a few crocus bulbs today and thought I would do a wee set involving different moods and tones.

Very, very nice! I love that first shot - it's brilliant - IMHO
The second shot looks great too - I think I prefer the first though (mono treatment aside) because composition wise, the area of focus is on the right rather than the left - very minor thing and not necessarily relevant. Great treatment on the third shot to.
I'd blow those up and throw them up on a wall!

Beautiful shots Sharon. The first and second are my favourites. The lighting in the second which highlights the tops of the petals is amazing.

Just a quick footnote to this thread....hope you don't mind.
After your kind comments I had the first shot enlarged and put onto canvas, I am really thrilled with the results and it will make a nice gift for a dear friend who starts Chemo today.
