A fine bit of engineering. It probably deserves a good rest!

Re: good old minolta
Am on the point of tears here. My Dad had one of these and it just looks sooo sad sat there on that bench...alone.
Promise you won't just shove it in a drawer and forget about it.
Full marks for poignancy.

Re: good old minolta
Nice, I had an old Nikon FE2 and a Canon FT that were retired. I was sad to let them go, but realised I really didn't use them anymore AND I could still sell them for a reasonable price (which compensated for the sadness).
Looking at your photos I wondered when were they taken, are they from old negatives?

Great camera. I love the first shot. The composition and lighting are very nice and the DOF pulls your attention right to it.

she is from 1967 and there is still a active flicker group thats use them even today
there is a run on vintage cameras nowadays, looks like more and more camera freaks are jumping over to film
there is a large (and growing) active community on the web using film instead of digital
to late for my little Minolta as she died in my hands
and I won't shove it in a drawer and forget here, she is smiling and looking down on my as we speak
