If this is the look you were going for then I think you did well. I like them as they are especially the second one. Could you expound on what you were trying to do and how you took and processed the image?

I thought I'd posted a reply, but it seems to have dropped off the edge.
Anyway .............
What wonderfully imaginative portraits. The fact that the processing so perfectly matches the poses is indicative, in my view, of a clear vision being in place. Whether that was expressed beforehand or not, it seems to me that these portraits were set up and shot with the end result very much in mind.
My first reaction to the second one was to think about Bill Brandt's portrait of Harold Pinter. Not really similar in approach at all, but the thought was sparked form me.
