Rose
Hi,
This is something I have been working on using the selective colouring in SEP2. Could I please get any feedback and thoughts on the image. I have been working with SEP2 for a little bit and am really taking a liking for the black and white. I am trying to achieve that black and white/monochrome look but with just that bit of colour in the image. For myself I like the image and am happy but like everyone am always after thoughts and feelings that I can take in to help me achieve a better end.
Cheers
J

I like the selective coloring having been done softly but the object behind the rose is way to distracting for me. Is it possible to get a shot from a different angle because the rose is beautiful. Slight angle from the face of it maybe?

I'm not normally a fan of selective colouring (but that's just me). However, you have done this with great subtlety. But I agree with Rob's comment about that object behind the flower.

Re: Rose
Hey Guys,
Thanks for the feedback. I have attached a second photo I took, using the same technique, this one from a different perspective and minus the background object. This forum is without a doubt the best I have been involved with I really appreciate all the comments and feedback that are given.
Cheers

Much better Jason but I'm not a big fan of the style of vignette. I think a round shape with a softer fade would be more esthetically pleasing.
