I don't think it gains anything in mono though.
Thank you, Sharon. I think I agree with you. But I was just foolin around, trying to give the rose skin-like qualities....here are a few more roses.....a couple of years ago I went to a local retired teacher's house to shoot roses....he had a garden with about 300 varieties, none the same. I took quite a few shots...unfortunately, before I could back them up, my computer crashed. I was able to move my images to an external hard drive, but before I could put another copy back onto a new comuter, the external hard drive had a meltdown. Later, I found out that when my generator came on, the generator was running too fast for my computer and it burned. It even burned my uninterruptible power battery back up....go figure. The man has since died and his roses were dug up and given to friends who wanted them. Sigh.
I am in love with #2 the peach colored rose! The texture and lighting is beautiful.
