Hello Paul. Welcome to the forum. Thanks for joining.
As you've maybe already seen, CiC is very much about learning. So, as well as, hopefully, you being able to extend your knowledge and skills, I hope you'll feel able to share your experience with others.

Re: greetings from central ny
...thank you,all,
I'm generally not one to speak up,unless I feel passionate about what I'm saying...rather than speak,I prefer to listen, and form my own thoughts (right or wrong)."Better to remain silent, and look the fool, than speak up,and remove all doubt".
I'm currently using a gripped Nikon D7000 with the kit lens (Nikkor 18-105 1:3.5-5.6G).I also have a Nikkor 55-200 1:4-5.6G.I use a Promaster EDF 7500 speedlight,a Yongnuo wireless remote, and a Sunpack Ultra 7500TM tripod.I just bought a tethering program (Control My Nikon),as I hope it will help me see subtle changes more easily.I think my next purchase will be a 50mm 1:8 (fixed)
....again,thank you,all !!
