Uninspired

Not having much luck this week....



And just to explain, I got up this morning to take some photos of the sunrise, figuring that the clouds would create some interesting reflections from the morning light. After waiting on top of a cold rock (aka Elephant Rock) for a half hour and getting a little excited as traces of red started peeking through, nature disappointed. The sun wasn't strong enough to break through the clouds so my hopes for a majestic sunrise disappeared.

I then went down to the beach to take the weekly surfing photos only to find that the sun refused to breakthrough enough to provide enough light for sharpish photos. And of course, the waves were pretty small.

So out of frustration I spotted this fisherman with the clouds looking ominous in the background and fired off a single shot - which turned out to be the one and only photo that came okay from this morning's efforts!

Nature sure can be frustrating!

I think its a great shot, and the sepia colour really suits the mood of the shot.

That shot certainly works well with those clouds, and his rod is at a perfect angle.
