The Wedding word....

I have not gone completely mad & taken on Weddings or ignored all the sensible advice to 'just say no' when asked by friends etc to photograph their wedding...... BUT

These really are my friends and as it was a second wedding for 'older' B&G, it was very relaxed & I did agree to do some shots in the backyard (venue for reception).

Although kiddies reading this - the absolute only reason I even considered it was that I had 2 of everything equipment wise as a back-up, and after that everyone else from the car driver to the minister to the musicians were all workmates/friends of the B&G, so it was great to be part of the 'family'....

But all that advice in the wedding section here still holds!

& Donald - yes I really did enjoy the day, BUT this was a favour for friends, I think the whole complexion of the event would change, if it was a 'real job'.... I am sure like anything it would get easier once you had some more experience under your belt, but there is so much involved!
I did say to my newly semi-retired, sort of not working at present hubby that it is almost impossible to do without a second camera minder and/or off cam flash light holder....
But he can't have minded that much as he said he would do that again for me....
