Frist time blending images
This is the result of blending two images that I took on Sunday of water running through a small gorge. It was a little cool Sunday morning -22C or -7.6 F but there was no wind.Looking for some C&C.
Thanks
Allan

Very nice, Allan.
Would love to see the two images you blended to see how you did it

Re: Frist time blending images
I love when water is shown as a froth with either blending of images or a slow shutter speed. However, in this case, the froth looks so much like the snow on the banks that there seems to be no separation between water and snow...

You are correct, the snow along the flowing water's edge is like slush, up where the water drops it yellowish in colour as it is flowing over ice formed from sluch. It was strange to see those colours in the snow and under the water.

Pretty good job of capturing such a high contrast scene and not having lost detail, Allan! I am guessing that the faster shutter speed was used for all but the fast running water?

WOW! I love how much detail you got with all that white. Great job blending, would love to see both images to see what the difference is, so I can learn from it. Thanks for sharing.
