Themed Photo Challenge #24: Technology (old or new)
This challenge theme is: Technology (old or new) The closing date will be: 18th February 2012
There are a few rules;
A) Photographs must be shot after the theme was announced on 18th January 2012
B) Photographs should be posted in this thread on or before the closing date (above)
C) If a person enters more than one picture, each should be in a separate post
D) Since many entrants do this; it seems only fair that everyone entering should cast votes for each other's efforts
E) Any votes cast for your own photograph(s) will be ignored
Voting;
When announced, voting (open to any member) will be by Private Message (PM) to Dave Humphries, over a period of three days or so. This will ask you to state your favourite three photographs in '1st, 2nd, 3rd' order by "V number" reference.
Theme topics;
The winner of this challenge should then send me a PM with a theme suggestion for a subsequent challenge.

Before the Second World War Australia relied on acquiring optical equipment from Britain and the United States. However, with the outbreak of war the Australian government set up the Optical Munitions Panel in June 1940 to advise and assist in establishing an Australian optical industry. This dial sight was one of the optical pieces subsequently manufactured.
