I like it dan, good composition. Leads the eye through the photo very well.

Re: Dartford Bridge at Night
Really great picture. I have driven over it many times before but it has never looked quite so picturesque!

Re: Dartford Bridge at Night
I think the only thing that I would consider changing, Daniel, is that little bit of red reflection near the bottom edge.
To me, it distracts from the natural sweep of the bridge and reflection. So I think I would try cloning it out.

Thanks for the replies. I must admit I have wondered that before Geoff. Just edited it. I think it does look better. Cheers.

Nice shot Dan.
How do you actually get to that spot where you took it from? I think you're on the north side of the river?

I absolutely love it! I can only dream of reaching that sharpness in a night photo...

How do you get there? I've tried a couple of times and failed. Is there a path? Where do you park?

Re: Dartford Bridge at Night
I parked in the Asda car park. There is a path just on the left as you pull into the Asda slip road. I would recommend taking a torch if you want to do a night shot, as the path is not lit and is quite bumpy in places, its probably about 15 minute walk in the pitch black!
The only things I can recommend for a sharp night photo are 1) a fairly still night 2) a tripod 3) a remote control for the camera. The last one is a definite must have, you can't touch the camera, you need the remote so that the camera is completely still at all times.
