Nice shot Richard. Since you chose to have so much of the tree in the foreground a higher aperture would have brought it in focus better. The rock formation is a bit over exposed too, bordering in loosing detail. An impressive shotgun though. As well as the others in that gallery.

Here is another version... I did this one when I was using my earlier monitor which I liked a LOT better than the present monitor; even though the previous monitor was not big enough. I have been able to adjust the color on this monitor farly well, but I am having trouble getting used to the brightness, sharpness and contrast...

Ah yes. I like the crop and the detail is much better in the rock. Have you tried calibrating your monitor? Not sure which one you have but some of the higher end ones like my 30" Gateway come with the software. There are probably free ones out there to I would imagine.

Beautiful images, Richard. The Grand Canyon is one of the most beautiful places...the colors can be unreal.
