A couple of shots taken at the botanical gardens yesterday with my compact camera. I'm not sure how well they work but would be interested to hear your views.

The photos themselves seem nice and sharp. I like the leaves in the top of the frame of the first photo - they drive me down to search for a subject underneath - it's just that I'm not sure what the subject is underneath
Nice shapes and reflection in the second one. I think I'd like to see the bottom of the photo a bit brighter - guessing that's from the brightness of the sky though.

Lovely photos, another 'place to visit' to add to my list
Love the photo and reflection in the glass house. The first photo I keep coming back to and finding more and more to look at. Its kinda like a Wheres Wally, which I like because theres always something more to find in the picture.

These were taken at the Mt Coot-tha botanical gardens (not the City botanical gardens).
