Interesting and I mean that in a good way.

There's that wonderful eye for catching fantastic light again. Is the tree how you wanted to capture it?
That's lovely Kathy, glad you finally got some snow there. Looks like it agrees with you. Nice work!!!

Beautiful work Kathy. I love the colors and lighting.
Thanks Allan, that was my thought exactly. I am glad you like it!

Straight out of one of the Wild West movies - great shot.
Very nice, well done!
You will have to forgive me but I can't figure out how to respond to each comment individually -- So I am going to do it in this one post -- Sorry!
Bobo, Rob, Wendy, Malcolm, Allan, and Paul,
Thank you so much for the kind comments, they made me smile
Malcolm to answer your question, this is a photo of a tree in my front yard the lighting on the tree is from a street light. When it snows it is a very peaceful scene the lighting always makes this tree glow so I thought I would try to take a photo and see what would happen ( I took many photo's, on every setting I had). I did quite a bit of photo editing with lightroom (got alot of practice with the cloning adjustment). I wish I could say that while I was taking the picture I envisoned it to look like the photo I posted, but instead it took a life of it's own as I was editing it -- and I really liked how it turned out -- mysterious. I have enclosed in this post a photo of the original photo, a color version edited and my favorite of them all. Thanks to all of you for taking time to look at my photo -- it is appreciated.

That is a really fun edit! Someone mentioned it having a wild west look to it, I see an experimental craft from Area 51 landing off frame left.
Well done!
(See... something strange is happening here the word "craft" is showing twice in the post but I only typed it once.)
Always good to know what your vision was and if it came out the way you had imagined - personally I love it
