Well this pic is kinda of a departure for me ... I am I guess more a realistic landscape person. Infact I don't even like PS that much ... mostly I just use it put peoples heads on animals.
So anyways I got to messing around with colors and stuff and made this ... I like it ... kind of reminds me of primordial earth ... I like the colors (colours)
Ugh I am having issues posting again - some certificate thing? POS ... well trust me its a nice photo ... comments appreciated.

I am new to post processing and I am starting to appreciate how much an image can be changed by 'fixing' or by just going totally wild.
I see no reason not to have fun changing images into something totally off the wall.
I like what you have done, you could have straightened the horizon up a bit though
It adds interest, even to an interesting photo, personal taste dictates your own ambition in my opinion.

File size is perhaps more of a consideration - if it's more than a few hundred kb then it can take ages to load for some people on slower connections.

nice picture Kevin, was it taken at sunset, or did you play with the colors to make look that way? Also, what post processing procedures did you apply in making it? I was drawn to those purple strokes on the waves, they give some majestic atmosphere to the scene as whole!

thx...naw it was actually taken mid day.....i used the ctrl U command to change the colors in PS ..sorry i cant tell u more cause i onyl casually use photo shop...
