Project 52 - rejects

As per my project 52 thread, there were a couple that didn't quite make it this week. Refer here for original thread.

The first two were similar shots with the last one somewhat different.



From the above, I did some colourisation and ended up with the following. This was a close second to the one I selected in the end and I liked the overall layout.....



And finally, something different. Although probably not my favourite - what it does show pretty well is the razor thin DOF you play with in Macro.

Kathy - I think that might be th first time I have had the word talented associated with myself and photography. So thank you very much for the compliment. I would more describe myself as a learning photographer - i look back on some of the photos I've taken in the past (and some ive posted on this site) and cringe. So it is all about the learning and the journey.

And mal - I saw your rejects thread also and thought th exact same thing. Maybe we should go for something a little less negative
