Hi Everyone,
My name is Col, from London, UK. I have been breezing in and out of the forums for a while, So I thought I'd better introduce myself, .

Been interested in photography since I got my first DSLR about 3 years ago (Nikon D60). I have just recently upgraded to the D7000 and I absolutely love it!!! it was a toss up between the D7000 or D300s after weeks of research (reading here also!) and handling said camera's I am more than impressed with my Camera and now I have more time on my hands I intend to spend most of it getting to know my camera intimately best place to start is by reading the manual, back to front and then re-read it back to front again

I will be more than likely asking a questions soon and I know the advice I will receive will be priceless, so I thank you all in advance. (Love the tutorials by the way!!)

Hi Thanks for the welcome.

@ Dave. I picked up a Tamron 70-300 mm and Nikon 35mm. I still have my other lenses 18-55 kit lens and 55-200 sigma.
Been playing with the 35mm lens on the D7000 and I must say that I'm well impressed with that one!! pics are very crisp and the speed is awesome.....

looking to extend my lens collection as I may well be selling my D60 so the kit lens and sigma lens will be going with that so I will need another lens to replace them two!... any ideas would be nice!
