Vervet Monkey - revisited
Vervet's are great fun to photograph as they are always on the move which is a challenge. I managed to snap these whilst they were moving about in ths huge tree in the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana. I played with the image again see below.

Re: Vervet Monkey
Wonderful images! You were certainly up to the challenge of freezing that movement
Lovely and sharp with great detail. Composition-wise the second one is my favourite, though I wonder if it might be possible to add just a little more light to the monkeys face so that the eyes are more clearly visible and contrasting. Love the texture in the bark of the tree too... just enough that the monkeys didn't fade into it. Generally great pics!

Hi Trace. Many thanks for the input, I will look at your comments to see what I can do with regards to the light in the eyes.

Re: Vervet Monkey
Wonderful images.
About the light - the deep eye sockets are going to make adjustment a bit of a challenge bearing in mind the direction of the light.
I would take out the 2 specks of white to the left of the face in #2.

Re: Vervet Monkey
Hi Bobo, thanks for the comments. I never noticed the white specks on the face, you have a good eye for detail. And noted about the depth of the eyes and direction of the light.

Re: Vervet Monkey
Purely in the interest of science, would you please post a photo of a male vervet so our fellow members can really see what colour "Monkey-Nut Blue" is.
