Re: Hi, I'm a newbie.
Hi Kiki,
Welcome to the forum. Always great to see young and enthusiastic photographers joining the forum. Had a quick look at your Facebook page - you have some really creative work there. If you're interested in getting some feedback on your photos it's best to post a photo or two in the relevant forum. There's a lot of people here that will be happy to share their thoughts with you.
You should probably also update your profile so people can see your real name when they respond to your posts and know what to call you
Loooking forward to seeing more of your photos.

Re: Hi, I'm a newbie.
Thank you! One of the things I want is more people to view my work on that page. I wonder if there is a forum for sharing work.

Kiki
I think you'll find that on a specialist photography forum, people like the images to be brought into the forum rather than be asked to go out to an external site.

Re: Hi, I'm a newbie.
The first place to start is by reading through the 'How do I post images ...' thread that can be accessed via the 'HELP/Rules' tab on the menu bar above.
If that still leaves you unclear then please do shout out. There will always be someone who will come along to help.

Hi Kiki,
Welcome to the CiC forums from me, great to have you join us.
I don't think I have tried linking from FB before, so to prove it can be done ...
Here's one of yours;
from your Looking at water drops and angles album.
Here's how you can do it (if you haven't already discovered)
Cheers,

Re: Hi, I'm a newbie.
Hi Kiki,
Just as Donald and Dave have pointed out, it would be really worthwhile to spend time and post images on these fora... You would get very good suggestions and very fine critique from all over the world! I would not have persisted in persuading you, had I not visited your Facebook page... Your composition is astounding! You do have every possible chance to realize your dream of becoming a professional... for someone like me, it would always be a hobby!
Whenever you do something for the first time, it usually is not straight-forward; but by doing it once, we set ourselves up for easier time ahead. Posting here is not so much of a task; in other words, it is worth all the effort you make...
Good luck, take care, and show us the way you see the world...
See you around here...

Re: Hi, I'm a newbie.
Hi Kiki! Nice color tone with the back-lit leaves. The back lighting provides a beautiful green color bleed smoothly going from light to dark with a style matching brown color bleed in the background. Good use of the two complementary colors.
