Can anyone point me in the direction of a UK supplier for Markins? I'm after a Q3T ballhead and plate
Alternatively, a good US supplier who will ship to UK. Would I have to pay import tax?

Google can up with these -

The second one is a link on the first.
Hope they help

Thanks Dave,
Just re-read Robert Cicala on choosing a ballhead: they don't sell through other stores...
I might just buy in US: with QR plate PG-34N, $350 = about £230
At Markin's Europe, this is 362 Euros, or £304..!
...or check out alternatives

Unfortunately, I dont have that option..!
And the postage and import duty from US pretty much cancel out the savings..
Would folk risk this? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bread-New-...item41455de5e7
Is that a Q3T..? In some of the details this is listed as Q3 Emille Traveller. Markins list Q3 'Emille' or Q3 Traveller, not Emille Traveller

In case anyone is interested, I just received a Markins Q3T ballhead + Plate from Young Gu Jin in Korea, through eBay. Ordered 5 Feb, dispatched 6th. Free postage.
Excellent..!! I was getting slightly concerned as the tracking reference given brought up "No record".
I mailed Gu Jin through eBay on Friday... received a 'reassuring' reply today... and the Ballhead and Plate a few hours later.
This saved about £100 on the Markins Europe price (excl. postage), though I believe I'd have to send it back to Korea if needed repair under warranty.
I've not used a Ballhead before... I'm impressed and well-pleased..!
With the arrival of a Feisol CT-3441T Tripod on Friday (ordered Thursday!) this concludes a months-long quest, including many hours of painstaking research, for a tripod and head which is compact and light enough to carry hiking and cycling, but also robust enough for me to use with a Nikon D7000 + Tamron 70-300 (combined weight just over 1.5kg).
