    Hi from the Midlands UK

    I signed up a while ago and thought i better say hi, I'm new to photography and use an eos1100d, the post's and photo's on here are impressive and i hope to pick tips to improve my skill's,

    welcome to CiC, you have certainly have joined a good forum. I'm sure you will improve your current skills quickly. As Dave has already said, the best way to learn is to post some of your work and let the more experienced members give you some guidance. The experience and Guidance the Guy's and Girl's on this site, can offer you, would cost you a fortune elsewhere, here it's given freely with the best of intentions, purely so that we can all learn together.     Thanks for the welcome guy's.
    Forgot to mention the eos 1100 came with the a Tamron 70-300 and the standard Canon18-55 lens. But theres always room for updating once i;ve got the hang of it.
