Raptors' shared meal
I was looking at some photos I took of some eagles about 3 years ago...and realized ...that I have improved my photo taking. Sheeshh...at the time I was excited, looking back I think "How bad was I?!" Anyway, I reworked one of my images using CS5 and Topaz adjust 5. It came up better, but still, too much noise, not sharp enough to begin with....yada yada yada.....Will just have to feed them, hope they come again....
Eagle and Black Vulture sharing a meal in the rain.

Re: Raptors' shared meal
Hi Nat,
I don't want to appear to make fun of it, but from this angle, it almost looks like the eagle has eaten the vulture's head
Good exposure, focus and PP.
Was this wild?

Re: Raptors' shared meal
Thanks, guys. Yes, these are wild birds. If I dump scraps out in the field, they come in for a meal....I was sitting in my truck, with the camera balanced on the window ledge. I hear eagles overhead almost every day.

Two more shots of the eagles.....When a deer is hit on the road, there will usually be vultures at first, and then eagles fly in to eat, too....this used to be a chicken...it died of natural causes.....not for the queasy, I guess....

Re: Raptors' shared meal
Just thought I would share this one, too. If you notice, his left foot is missing. Stumpy. But he is still able to get in there and fight for his share of a meal....Wonder how he lost it? Hope it wasn't an illegal animal trap.....we don't have alligators where I live...
