Point and shoot flower macro
This was taken with the Olympus C7000 point and shoot, it is a crop of the original, which I posted below it...This little wild pansy flower head is less than 1/2 inch long. Was just sharing to show that some nice macro images can be taken without a DSLR

Lovely picture and I agree entirely. I have a Canon Ixus compact and the macro is very acceptable.

Re: Point and shoot flower macro
Thank you, Kathy. Sorry, I am not familiar with the Nikon L120....but if you have the manual, see what it says. When I set my Olympus to macro it has more than one. The first one is for close-ups and the second is for very close. I usually set the exposure to spot and focus to spot focus......and I bought a tiny tripod (only about 7 inches tall) and use that to steady the camera, or lean it on something...Good light, steady camera......and practice.
