I like the colors of the first but the crop of the second, the lens flare in the first is a little distracting. IMHO

The sun flare in the 2nd image beautifully "illuminates" the streetlight, whereas in the first image it just tapers to becoming insignificant. The warmth of the color in the 2nd keeps the sunlight from being to glaring. I much prefer the 2nd. Nice job

Thank you for your comment. Ya, the light is a bit distracting at the first picture. I was thinking to use the sunlight effect to make the photo more expressive (not flat)..

Thank you for your comment . I just to balance between the two - the sun and the streetlight..
However, I myself prefer the first one. Do you know how to reduce the glare in that color (1st picture)...
